Dale Kietzman University
(USA + 31 African countries)
Snapshots

Dale Kietzman University needed market-level certainty to guide growth and expansion across the U.S. and Africa. We replaced assumptions with quantified demand, affordability thresholds, and market fit. Then we translated findings into a digital growth roadmap built for execution.
The Challenge

When you’re expanding into new markets, “more marketing” isn’t a strategy. You need defensible answers. Where demand exists. What tuition levels are viable. Which markets align with program fit. All of this should be known before allocating budget or redesigning digital infrastructure.
Objectives
-
Quantify potential student demand for programs in Utah and California
-
Define tuition thresholds required to hit enrollment and revenue goals
-
Understand student markets across Africa and identify best-fit countries for expansion
-
Build a data-driven roadmap to reduce uncertainty and improve resource allocation
What We Did

We designed a research-driven market evaluation process across DKU’s U.S. locations and an initial set of 54 African countries. The study was progressively refined to 31 countries based on demand, affordability, and program alignment. This allowed DKU to focus resources on the most viable markets.
Deliverables (System Outputs)
-
Demand estimates by discipline and education level
-
Tuition affordability thresholds aligned with enrollment objectives
-
Financing capability insights per selected African markets
-
Quarter-by-quarter digital growth plan (organic, social, paid initiatives)
-
Market-specific execution recommendations
-
Website redesign guidance to improve recruitment, communication, and conversion
Results (Verified)
-
Market evaluation refined from 54 countries to 31 priority markets based on demand and affordability criteria
-
Tuition thresholds and demand estimates delivered to support measurable expansion decisions
-
A quarter-by-quarter roadmap delivered to convert findings into execution
Strategic Takeaway

When growth decisions require precision, research is governance. Once the market is quantified, digital strategy stops being opinion and becomes execution.
