Gastón Käufer Barbé is an Erasmus University sponsored entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of Toucan insights. Gastón is an awarded marketing expert with more than 10 years of experience gained in Coca-Cola, Avon Cosmetics, and Norman Hay plc., among others. He has led multicultural international teams to achieve ambitious goals by understanding market needs and addressing the actions needed to meet them. In 2015 he received, along with the team he directed, the Mercurio Award granted by the Argentine Marketing Association in the Hospitality and Tourism category, for his successful commercial management at the Hotel Cuatro Reyes (Buenos Aires). From an academic perspective, Gastón holds a BSc in Marketing and an MBA from the University of London. He also has completed courses in Innovation & Commercialization dictated by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and in Analyzing Global Trends for Business and Society dictated by The Wharton School -University of Pennsylvania-.
