Gastón Käufer Barbé, MBA
Gastón Käufer Barbé is an award-winning marketing professional with more than 11 years of working experience gained in blue-chip companies. He is the CEO of Toucan Insights, a Hospitality Marketing Consultancy, that operates in 4 countries and he is currently being sponsored by the Erasmus University Rotterdam, through its program, as one of its top entrepreneurs. Gastón is also a Guest Lecturer in Marketing at Northumbria University (United Kingdom). Adding to this, he collaborates as a hospitality and travel marketing expert for several business magazines, such as Forbes and Stratega.
In 2015 he received, along with the team he directed, the Mercurio Award in the Hospitality and Travel category, granted by the Argentine Marketing Association, for his successful commercial management at the Hotel Cuatro Reyes. From an academic perspective, Gastón holds a BSc in Marketing and MBA from the University of London, in which he graduated with distinction. He also has completed courses in Innovation & Commercialization dictated by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and in Analyzing Global Trends for Business and Society dictated by The Wharton School -University of Pennsylvania-.
